'78 Batchmates from all over,

Our batch was the first to experience "Assigned admission" and was the last to come out with a five-year degree. Apparently, we set new records for grades in Complex Variables!  Find most of us at  - exclusing egroup for 78 batch junta. 
 
A bit about myself
 
Friends call me Solo. Did Chemical Engineering while at BITS. Worked as a Research Associate with CDS Trivandrum, and then at NCAER New Delhi. Later worked as Systems Analyst at ICRIER, New Delhi.  Did Ph D in Business from Florida International Univ, Miami.  Currently am a faculty at Texas Tech University, Lubbock.  Married to Chitra since 1990.  We have a 1 year old daughter Chellam. Tanatan : Very attractive
Satka : adjective used as a superlative
IC - Intermediate Canteen (the one between Nutan and BC)
Hush it - Forget about it; Chill
jutajut - same as fatafut
Pile on -  univited guest (noun); Hitch on to someone (verb)
Haluing: Didging; being incoherent;
Didge : A severe form of degenaration
Didge : To play bridge
Kibitzer: Someone who gives unsolicited advice (especially during Bridge)
Bajjawed: Got Splutched(past tense of split-splat-splutch) !
Splutch : see bajjaw !!
KITA : kick in the A***
PITA : Pain in the A***
Put it : To have sex
Simply put it! : Don't hesitate, just do it
What-eh!  :  exclamation or amazement
Chock : The male version of chick(e.g. Bakra etc.)
Dhaambed up: beaten up
Got tunned : Extremely intoxicated by alcoholic beverages
