Dear '72 Batchmates from all over,

Hello and welcome to our batch site. This is the place where one should (very soon) be able to find something about every person in the 71 batch. Do view the first edition of our class notes. Please send me an email if you would like any updates in your life to be included in the class notes, or, if your name is not included.

Navneet Kothari lives in with my wife, Beena Kothari in Dix Hills, Long Island, New York since 1990 after having served RSEB for more than 12 years. Navneet is currently CTO for Telephonics Corp. among the Top 10 companies on Long Island, New York. Beena is working with IBM as a Consultant for JPMorganChase. We have two children: son Beeneet pursuing Triple Degree Bachelors (2)/Master (1) degree from Wharton Business School/SEAS of University of Pennsylvania - class of 2004 and daughter Nivea pursuing Bachelor in Business - class of 2006.

Highlights of our batch

The first batch to go through the famous (or infamous) 5-year Unassigned Admission System. No one except Gold Medallists were assigned any disciplines at the time of admission. My ID # started with 72XXX376 and became 72E04376 (E for Engineering 04 for Electronics) only in my fourth year.  It was designed to create competitiveness amongst all the students.
